Location: Belgrade
Salary: up to €30,000 per annum
About us
At Arbor, we’re on a mission to transform the way schools work for the better.
You’ve probably seen the headlines. Heavy workloads, constant change, admin pressure on teachers and staff at every level… sometimes it feels like this is just part and parcel of school life today. But it doesn’t have to be this way.
We passionately believe that there’s a better way to work. And it starts by giving everyone the right tools and technology for the job.
We’re building a platform and products we believe in - as well as a strong, diverse team of experienced specialists, ex-teachers and Edtech engineers passionate about making a difference to the sector.
Ultimately, we’re here to help make our schools and trusts stress a little less, and focus on what matters most - improving the lives of teachers and outcomes of students everywhere.
About the role
Our QA team is pivotal to Arbor’s commitment to deliver superb quality software to our customers, and our drive to make engineering teams more efficient.
We are looking for a collaborative and enthusiastic QA Engineer to join our QA team on an initial 15 month FTC and help us define test plans for major releases, and perform manual and exploratory testing to ensure bugs and issues are found during development and prior to release. The remit and focus of the role is to collaborate with the Product Managers and engineering team to form good testable acceptance criteria for each story, and ensure these are delivered as intended.
Core responsibilities

Perform manual and exploratory testing across feature releases and record outcomes within the test management system.
Maintain the manual regression test suite.
Identify and record defects fully to enable accurate triage.
Create and maintain test documentation, reports, and metrics.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in the testing process.
About you
We’re looking for an experienced QA Engineer with the ability to write and prepare test cases/plans. Beyond that, we’d love to see:
Proficiency in test case creation and management.
Proven experience creating queries in SQL to interrogate databases.
API testing experience utilising tools such as Postman.
Good knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Experience working within agile cross-functional teams.
Ability to work across multiple projects and be adaptable to a fast-paced environment.
Good/Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
