About the role
Working closely with the schools team to plan and manage the implementation of their new MIS, including supporting the school with change across their teams and departments.
Our Project Managers manage the end to end implementation of a school’s onboarding onto Arbor. You will work closely with the school, keeping them in touch with what’s happening and when, managing the data migration, planning their configuration of Arbor (what features and functionality they will use), as well as working with the school to coordinate training and support for their team.
During the school's onboarding, you will report on their key successes & challenges, enabling them to celebrate what’s going well and supporting them to make Arbor a success at their school.
Core responsibilities
- Onboarding secondary schools to the Arbor MIS, including managing the data migration process.
- Scoping and planning of multiple projects to ensure key milestones and objectives are achievable and aligned to the client’s priorities.
- Preparing, planning and leading internal and external calls and meetings to ensure customer priorities are being met and disseminate information to relevant teams.
- Coordinating with the training team to ensure schools training needs are being met.
- Preparing client facing documentation and presenting in Executive Status Meetings during Implementation to ensure project milestones are being met and the project is on track, including client status and risks.
- Being the escalation point for risk and project dependencies of the school.
- Planning mitigation against risk and providing solutions, including visits to clients to ensure that client remains successful.
- Responsible for overall project success and customer outcomes and feedback.
About you
You will have proven time management and multitasking skills within project management. Beyond that, we’d love to see:
- Project coordinator, project management or software background.
- Able to project manage complex, overlapping projects to tight timeframes within budget.
- Experience in guiding organisations through systems change management.
- A proven track record in building relationships with Key Stakeholders to understand their needs and communicate clearly with them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Experience implementing software within a SAAS environment would be desirable.
- Project Management qualification (ie Prince2) would be desirable.
- Confident working effectively within an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and results-oriented culture.
- Experience using a CRM/MIS database system to interpret data in order to understand clients’ needs.
- An interest in the national educational landscape.
- Proficient in Microsoft and Mac OS Platforms, able to use Excel/ Google Sheets to a high level of expertise.
- Willingness to travel frequently to client sites at least 30% of your time
